SG Advanced Tech supplies weaving, twisting, finishing and prepress machinery to Egyptian mills, and holds the spare parts in Cairo to keep them turning. Over twenty years between two textile industries.
Machinery
We specialise rather than list everything. These are the machines we know well enough to specify, install and keep in parts — and the range grows as our partner works do.

Weaving
High-speed weaving of synthetic filament fabrics. A jet of water carries the weft across the shed, which suits polyester and nylon at speed and keeps running costs low.

Twisting
Two turns of twist per spindle revolution. Supplied from our partner works at Shaoxing Huayu, for both chemical filament and spun yarn.

Finishing
Raising a fine nap on the face of the cloth for a soft, dry peach-skin handle. Vertical and horizontal machines from Jiangsu Huayi.

Prepress
Before a printing machine can print, somebody has to make the screen. These image it straight from the file — no film, no ink, no wax, no exposure frame. Flat and rotary machines from DOSUN of Hangzhou.
Partners
We keep a small number of manufacturing relationships rather than a long list of names. Each is a specialist works in China, building the machines it is named against here, and the list grows as the range does.

See the machines →How we work
We start from the fabric you intend to produce, then match width, shedding and configuration to it — and source the machine from our partner works.
We arrange freight and clear the machine through Egyptian customs ourselves, so it arrives at your mill rather than stopping at the port.
The machine is set up on your floor, started, and handed over running — not delivered in crates and left with you.
After the sale, fast-moving spares are held locally. That is the difference between an afternoon of downtime and a month of it.

Spare parts
A stopped machine is the expensive problem, not the price of the part. Send the machine make, the model and the part number — a photo of the old part works just as well — and we will come back with availability and lead time.
Fast-moving parts are held in stock in Cairo, so the common failures don't wait on a shipment from China.
