SG Advanced Tech

About us

Two decades between two textile industries

Created in 2006, SG Advanced Tech is an import and export company set up to supply high-quality products to a busy and rapidly evolving textile market. The people behind it have been in this sector for over twenty years, importing a wide range of textile machinery into Egypt — and, just as importantly, the spare parts that keep it running.

Our work sits between two industries that do not naturally speak to each other. Chinese manufacturing moves quickly and documents sparingly; Egyptian mills need machines specified correctly the first time, cleared through customs without surprises, and supported for years afterwards. Bridging that gap is the whole of our business, and it is why mills come back to us rather than starting again with a new agent.

Behind the five hundred machines and hundred million Egyptian pounds we have delivered are working relationships with manufacturers across China — among them Shaoxing Huayu for twisters, Zhejiang Yinchun for water jet looms, Jiangsu Huayi for sueding and DOSUN of Hangzhou for screen engraving. That list grows as the range does, and every name on it is a works we have visited and can answer for.

What matters most to our customers is the least visible part of it. We hold fast-moving spare parts in stock in Cairo, and our own technicians are on call to go out to any problem and get a stopped machine running again as fast as possible. When a loom stops on a Sunday morning, the question is not what the part costs — it is how soon someone can be standing in front of it.

Mission

To supply the Egyptian textile field with machines that suit the cloth it actually makes, and to keep those machines running with parts that are already in the country.

Vision

To be the supplier Egyptian mills call first when they re-equip — because the last machine we sold them is still running.

How we judge ourselves

Not by machines sold, but by how quickly a customer with a stopped machine is running again.

Why mills choose us

Four things that are actually different

Specification from the fabric backwards

We ask what you intend to produce before we quote a machine. Width, output and configuration follow from the cloth, not from whatever the factory has ready to ship.

Customs cleared by us, not by you

We handle Egyptian import clearance ourselves. The machine arrives at your mill; it does not become your problem at the port.

Our own technicians on call

Machines are set up on your floor, started and handed over running — and when something goes wrong later, our engineers come out to it. Getting you back into production is the job, not selling the next machine.

Spare parts held in Cairo

Fast-moving spares sit in stock locally. Downtime is measured in hours instead of the weeks a fresh order from China would take.
