Water jet looms
A jet of water carries the weft across the shed. On hydrophobic filament yarns — polyester, nylon — it runs faster and at lower cost than air jet on comparable cloth, which is why it dominates lining, taffeta, umbrella and bag fabrics. Supplied from Zhejiang Yinchun.
